As we look ahead to PPI’s 50th anniversary in 2028, the core team has concluded that this milestone presents a natural moment to bring our organization’s operations to a responsible close. After thoughtful discussion, we have established a three-year wind-down plan during which all existing commitments will be fulfilled. Our current bank balance is more than sufficient to meet our current project obligations as well as our operating expenses over the wind-down period. Once our obligations are fulfilled, we will develop a plan to allocate the remaining funds in a manner that is consistent with PPI’s mission and long-standing values.
PPI is no longer seeking donations. Our donors’ generosity over the decades has provided us with the resources needed to responsibly complete our final chapter, and we are sincerely grateful.
PPI is no longer accepting new grant proposals. NGO partners who have ongoing projects in the winddown period will continue to receive their scheduled support, and we will share progress updates with our membership. We are deeply grateful to our partner NGOs for their dedicated work for the underserved in India. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to support their work.
